Data from the West Bank - October 7, 2023 - March 29, 2024

Palestinians killed

‣ 443 (132 since the beginning of 2024), 113 of them minors (32 since 2024 began);

‣ 55 of the minors killed (as of March 26th) were school children;

‣ 10 of the Palestinians were killed by colonist live fire. 3 more by soldier-colonists


Israelis killed

‣ 16 killed by Palestinians;

‣ 5 of them during active military duty.


Palestinians wounded

‣ 4,720 Palestinians wounded;

‣ 725 of them minors. 329 minors were school children.


Israelis wounded

‣ 112 Israelis wounded. No data about number of minors among them.


Arrests

‣ Since October 7th, 7,845 Palestinians arrested, 500 of them minors.

‣ 9,199 Palestinians in prisons, 204 of them minors.

‣ Among the Palestinians in prison, 3,558 held in administrative detention (no indictment), of them 40 minors and 10 women.

‣ Most minors are held in Ofer and Megiddo prisons, many testimonies of harsh violations of rights and harassment: crowding, malnutrition, humiliation, restriction of clothes, isolation.

Demolition and displacement

‣ From October 7th to March 5th, 659 buildings demolished, including 70 demolished by owners in East Jerusalem;

‣ 1,600 Palestinians displaced. 54% of them in military operations, 38% in house demolitions (1,333 demolition orders issued);

‣ 57 schools damaged/vandalized/destroyed during military operations.


Colonist attacks

‣ As of March 24th, 683 cases of colonist attacks have been reported. 142 of them ended in casualties. 10 Palestinians were killed by colonists.

Palestinians killed

‣ 39.623 killed and missing;

‣ 32,623 Palestinians killed;

‣ 14,350 of them minors (5,825 of them school children);

‣ 28 minors have died of starvation and dehydration so far;

‣ 9,460 women killed;

‣ 18 drowned trying to rescue others, or crushed under parachuted aid packages;

‣ 364 members of medical teams;

‣ 48 rescue workers.


Israelis killed

‣ 1, 260 Israelis killed on October 7th, 40 of them captives whose bodies were either returned or are held in captivity;

‣ 254 soldiers killed so far in the ground invasion.

‣ 134 Israelis in captivity, at least 32 of them killed.


Palestinians wounded

‣ 74,518 wounded;

Catastrophe of starvation and humanitarian aid

‣ 70% of the Gaza Strip population are expected to be graded as the highest level of starvation - 5 (catastrophic) on the hunger crisis scale;

‣ Between March 23rd and March 29th:

◦ Israel allowed 42% of the aid delegations access into the Northern Strip;

◦ It rejected 42% of them.

◦ 93% of the applications to enter the Southern Strip were accepted;

◦ 7% were rejected.

Sunday, March 24 - The West Bank

Arrests

18 persons arrested, including a minor and a woman (reported violently attacked).


Clashes

1. Siris, south of Jenin - raid and confrontations. One person wounded by live fire.

2. Al-Lubban al-Gharbi, west of Ramallah - raid and arrests, confrontations, teargas. No casualties reported.

3. Hebron - raid, siege and forcing shop owners to shut down (80% of business owners) due to colonist march on Purim Holiday (details below).

4. Qaffin, north of Tulkarm - raid, confrontations. A 16-year-old wounded by live fire.

5. Beit Furik, east of Nablus - march protesting Israeli violence in Gaza. The army disbands it with live fire and teargas. A 14-year-old wounded by live fire.

6. Beitunia, west of Ramallah - raid around the schoolhouse. Teargas fired. No casualties reported.

7. Silat Al Dahar, south of Jenin - confrontations during raid.

8. Meithalun, south of Jenin - raid. Palestinian fire at army force.

9. East Jerusalem - thousands of Christians prevented from entering the city to celebrate Palm Sunday. At the same time, strict restrictions in the checkpoints surrounding the Old City of Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque. Soldiers enter Al Qibli Hall at the Al Aqsa Compound to chase away people staying overnight to observe the A’atakaf custom.

1. Kifl Haris, west of Salfit - once again, colonists come on pilgrimage to the Joshua Tomb and force the entire village into curfew.



2. Hebron - colonist Purim march with provocative calls and revenge songs, partaken by soldiers.




3. Modi’in Ilit, west of Ramallah - Palestinian bus driver stabbed by colonists.



4. Susia, Masafer Yatta - colonists from the outpost come down in disguise and throw stones at the flocks.



5. Wadi Tiran, south of Hebron - soldiers raid the community. Their entry into tents is prevented after police is summoned. It came and scolded activists for a false complaint.

 

Sunday, March 24 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 8 lethal attacks;

1. Gaza City:

‣ Al Shifaa Hospital compound, Al Rimal neighborhood - 7th consecutive day of attack;

The army claims that of 800 arrested inside the compound, 480 were Hamas activists. In addition, military infrastructure and equipment belonging to the Hamas were found in the hospital and around it. Massive bombings around the hospital in the neighborhood itself. Harsh confrontations in the area between Hamas and the Israeli army. 3 persons wounded from Israeli sniper fire and transferred to the Baptist Hospital;

‣ Al Kuwaiti Roundabout - 2 persons killed in bombing. Palestinians claim they were in charge of securing food distribution;

‣ Al Zeitoun neighborhood - people wounded in bombing.

2. Beit Hanun - bombings in the night.


Central Strip

1. Deir Al Balah - 22 persons killed in a bombing, 6 children and 8 women among them.


Southern Strip

1. Al Qarara - 4 bodies removed from the rubble. 10 persons wounded in a bombing.

2. Khan Yunis:

‣ Shots fired at school sheltering displaced persons. 2 persons wounded;


Amir Subhi Abu Aisha. Member of Red Crescent team. Shot and killed at Al Amal Hospital


‣ Al Amal and Al Nasser Hospitals under siege. Al Amal attacked by tanks, bulldozers destroying infrastructure. Israeli army announced evacuation. Left in the hospital are medical staff, 9 patients, 10 accompaniers and DP families including children with special needs. A team member was killed and another seriously wounded in the head by live fire. The army claims to have destroyed 40 targets in the neighborhood around the compound, including military structures and tunnels. Massive raids and bombings between Khan Yunis and Rafah.


3. Rafah:



‣ 28 persons killed in an attack on 5 houses during the day:

‣ Al Janina neighborhood - 2 lethal attacks: 7 persons killed in the first one (including 4 women and a child), 8 persons killed in the second, including 2 children and a woman:

‣ Yadna refugee camp - 3 persons killed, 2 women and an unidentifiable man;

‣ 10 persons killed in another bombing.


 

Sunday, March 24 - Northern Israeli Border

Attacks against Israel

‣ 50 rockets intercepted after being launched from Lebanon;

‣ False alarms in the Golan as aerial attack suspected;

‣ Hezbollah claims 60 Katyusha rockets were fired at 2 Israeli army posts in the Golan;

Al Marj - Hezbollah claims direct hit at army post;

‣ 2 anti-tank missiles launched in direction of Kibbutz Manara.


Attacks against South Lebanon

Baalbek - 3 persons wounded in a bombing of a weapons workshop;

Sawariri - a drone attacks a vehicle. A Syrian citizen is wounded;

Ayta ash Shab and Odaisseh - Hezbollah structures are attacked. Israeli army claims they are a missile launching post;

Tyre Harfa.

 

Monday, March 25 - The West Bank

Arrests

At least 18 persons arrested, a minor among them.


Clashes

1. Nablus - several army vehicles raid areas in the city venter and around the Old City, firing live bullets and teargas. Confrontations break out, including an improvised explosive charge. 3 persons wounded - 2 by live fire and one by shrapnel in the face. Another force raided the western part of the city. Confrontations. No casualties reported there.

2. Al Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron - confrontations after Palestinians threw stones at army watchtower. Suffocations.

3. Shu’afat refugee camp - confrontations near checkpoint.



4. Faqqua, east of Jenin - confrontations.

5. Hebron - owner of shop where 7-year-old Luai Al Ja’abri was attacked and stripped by soldiers last night was called for interrogation and security cameras were confiscated.



6. Beita, south of Hebron - confrontations during raid.




Attacks against the army

1. Nablus - shots fired at army post on Mount Eival.

1. Hizma, north of Jerusalem - demolition order for several shops.

1. Homesh, north-west of Nablus - improvised explosive charge near the entrance.

2. Karmei Tzur, north of Hebron - shots fired at night, a house hit.

3. Azzun, east of Qalqilya - fire bomb thrown at vehicle.


Colonist attacks

1. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - colonists block road and throw stones at vehicles.



2. Susia - 7 masked colonists attacked a house and a family with stones and clubs, wounding one of the family members. Border Policemen did not arrest colonists and even enabled a colonist with a distancing order to be among them.




3. Hebron - Colonists throw garbage at houses near Kiryat Arba.

4. The Old City of Jerusalem - Jews attacks shopkeepers.


 

Monday, March 25 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 11 lethal attacks;

‣ 107 persons killed;

‣ 176 persons wounded;

‣ 24 hours.


‣ The UN Security Council has demanded a ceasefire. The US did not veto the ruling.

Attacks against Israel

1. 8 rockets at Ashdod (intercepted/fell in open areas).

2. 2 rockets at Sderot.

3. Road blocking in Sha’ar Hanegev regional council on suspected security event.


Northern Strip

UN OCHA announces that for two days ground aid has been halted due to a lack of safe access.


Her name is Lina ‘Asef. Sustains burns and wounds in a bombing of her home. Lost 30 family members


1. Gaza City:

‣ Shuja'iyya - 6 persons killed;

‣ Western part of the city - WAFA News Agency reporter and his son killed while trying to rescue wounded persons;

‣ Al Kuwait Roundabout - 2 persons killed while waiting for aid;

‣ Al Shifaa Hospital Compound - 8th day of siege, army announces demand to leave the compound sheltering 7,000 DPs. 5 persons killed in bombed residential building near the compound. Witnesses claim the army runs over bodies in the compound with tanks and has executed 8 persons. Army claims that Hamas fighters fortified throughout the compound and fire at the army forces. Harsh confrontations there and in the surrounding area.

Red Crescent does report it has managed to rescue 27 members of the medical staff, 6 patients, an accompanier and 2 bodies of persons killed last night. Army claims 20 Hamas fighters were killed in the neighborhood around the compound;

‣ Al Nasser Hospital Compound also under siege, surrounded by tanks. Snipers fire on anyone escaping.

4. Rafah - Number of persons killed last night in attack on 5 residential buildings has risen to 36, mostly children.

3. Al Khader, south of Bethlehem - raid and confrontations concentrated around the large mosque and antiquities site. 2 persons wounded by live fire, suffocations.

4. Jenin - morning raid of large military force, confrontations. One person wounded by live fire. In the evening, another raid reported on the next day’s data.

5. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus - raid and confrontations. Palestinians operate improvised explosive charges. The army blows up (again) the Fateh headquarters in the camp. 2 persons wounded by live fire.



6. Qabatiya, south of Jenin - raid and confrontations.

8. Dura, south of Hebron - arrest operation. Confrontations.

Tuesday, March 26 - The Gaza Strip

‣ Lethal attacks: 81 persons killed, 93 wounded;

‣ The army informs the family of captive Or’el Baruch that findings show he was killed on October 7th and his body is held in Gaza;

‣ 31 soldiers were wounded in the past 48 hours;

‣ The army announces that the deputy to the Hamas Military branch commander was killed in an aerial attack.
