Palestinians killed

‣ 451 persons killed, 112 minors among them;

‣ 435 of them by the Israeli army;

‣ 10 of them by colonists;

‣ Not yet definitely clarified whether 6 of them were killed by the colonists or by the soldiers present;

‣ 16 detainees or prisoners died in prison.


Israelis killed

‣ Inside the West Bank, 9 Israelis killed, 5 of them soldiers (not including persons killed in Israeli territory).


Palestinians wounded

‣ 4,890 persons wounded;

‣ 43% of them in military operations;

‣ 91 wounded in colonist attacks on April 12-15: 39 by soldiers, 43 by colonists, and 9 not yet finally established.


Israelis wounded

‣ 91 Israelis wounded, 54 of them soldiers.


Arrests and incarcerations

‣ 8,270 arrests;

‣ Over 9,500 persons imprisoned as of today, of them 80 women and over

200 minors;

‣ The number of persons incarcerated rose by 130% since October 7th (the number does not include persons incarcerated from the Gaza Strip);

‣ 3,660 of persons incarcerated are administrative detainees (no indictment sheet or legal proceedings), of them 22 women and 40 minors;

‣ 56 journalists arrested, 45 of them since October 7th, including 4 women.


Displaced persons

‣ 1,700 Palestinians have been displaced due to house demolitions (no construction permits, collective punishment and military operations);

‣ 86 were displaced during the April 12-13 pogroms by colonists after 21 homes were totally torched.


Colonist violence



‣ 776 colonist attacks have been documented since October 7th. 160 of these ended in casualties. The army was present in about half of the attacks, sometimes actively involved;

‣ In April 12-14, 45 attacks were documented in 37 villages, towns and shepherd communities. In that time, 4 persons were killed by colonists (no certainty about 2 of them), one of them a minor;

‣ 21 houses and 32 vehicles totally torched;

‣ 220 sheep slaughtered by colonists or stolen;

‣ 360 trees vandalized;

‣ In addition to torching, shootings and stone throwing, the army accompanied the colonists with varying levels of involvement;

‣ The army placed checkpoints at villages and on roads (especially Road 60) and prevented ambulance access;

‣ Human Rights Watch organization studied the circumstances of the eviction of 20 shepherd communities in October and November, 2023 (1,200 displaced persons, 600 of them minors). Evidence shows armed colonists with active participation of army units blocking roads, raiding communities, arresting, attacking, threatening death and handing out leaflets warning of revenge or destruction.

‣ 27 witnesses reported men wearing army garb and armed with M16 rifles taking part in these events;

‣ In addition, the Israeli army recruited 5,500 colonists (including those with a criminal record due to violence against Palestinians) and posted them in regional defense position in addition to their civilian duties.

‣ 7,000 firearms were handed out to these recruits.

Palestinians killed

‣ 40,970 persons killed and missing;

‣ 34,970 bodies located;

‣ 14,685 children killed (according to UNICEF - 13,900);

‣ 9,670 women killed (according to UNICEF - over 10,000), 6,000 of them mothers;

‣ 5,000 embryos awaiting IVF were destroyed;

‣ 485 medical staff workers killed;

‣ 66 rescue responders and firefighters killed;

‣ 140 journalists;

‣ About 420 bodies rescued from Al Shifaa rubble, some unidentifiable;

‣ 17,000 orphaned children (as of January).


Israelis killed

‣ According to army spokesperson, since October 7th, 600 soldiers have been killed (259 of them in ground warfare). Total killed in October 7th massacre - 1,260 civilians and soldiers as well as foreign nationals. Of these, 36 minors. It is estimated that about half of the captives are no longer alive. Exact number unknown;

‣ 116 children orphaned of one or both parents.

Palestinians wounded

‣ 76,770 Palestinians wounded;

‣ 6,000 Palestinians critically wounded, 3,000 chronically ill patients in serious condition need urgent evacuation;

‣ At least 1,000 children remained without limbs (updated in early January);

‣ According to Physicians Without Borders organization, some of the amputations could have been prevented if the health system had been equipped;

‣ According to UN Women - over a million women’s and girls’ health is in danger for lack of clean water and basic sanitation.


Israelis wounded

‣ 4,500 Israelis wounded on October 7th, 1,641 of them soldiers;

‣ Since fighting broke out, 1,561 soldiers have been wounded.


Arrested

Number unknown. Israel refuses to share data.

‣ 3,000 are known with certainty to have been arrested. Prisoners Club estimates that double this number have been arrested;

‣ 849 are defined as illegal fighters;

‣ 23 minors are held at Megiddo prison;

‣ 310 medical staff workers are held in custody;

‣ At least 20 journalists are held in custody.


Destruction

‣ About 75,000 tons of explosives from the air;

Tuesday, April 9 - The West Bank

Arrests and arrestees

1. At least 20 persons arrested.

2. Administrative detention:

‣ Journalist Asma Haresh was transferred to 3 months administrative detention.

‣ Journalist Mostafa Al Hawajar’s administrative detention has been extended for 6 months.

3. Nur Jarbu’a was critically injured during his arrest two years ago at the Jenin refugee camp. During his time in the prison clinic, as he suffered from an infected spine that needed surgery, Itamar Ben Gvir obtained the telephone number of the family from the prison clinic and called to threaten that he will see to it that Nur will not undergo surgery. Now, two years later, Nur has been released, paralyzed.


Clashes

1. Shu’afat refugee camp, north-east Jerusalem - confrontations and massive use of teargas causing fire close to a shop.



2. Jayus, east of Qalqilya - for the third day running, raid (since the shooting terrorist attack). Confrontations, house searches.



3. Nablus - raid of a neighborhood in the eastern part of town for arrest purposes. Confrontations. One person wounded by live fire.

4. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus - raid with bulldozers, searches in homes causing much damage. Fire exchange and improvised explosive charge blown up. A soldier wounded. Bulldozers destroyed infrastructure.

5. Tulkarm - raid, fire exchange. The army destroys fruit and vegetable stands.



6. Al Am'ari refugee camp, south of Ramallah - raid and shots fired at vehicle and shop.



7. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah - raid and confrontations.

8. Jinba, Masafer Yatta - teargas fired at shepherd and his flock while grazing on land at the entrance to the village. Later, the shepherd was arrested for documenting the incident.



9. Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of Jericho - raid and confrontations. One person wounded by live fire.


Demolitions

1. Deir Ballut, west of Salfit - two trucks confiscated as they worked on infrastructure in the village.


Attacks against colonists

1. Umm Safa, north of Ramallah - stones thrown at vehicles.


Colonist attacks

1. Kafr A Dik, west of Salfit - colonists attack 2 shepherds and injure them.

2. Al Mu’arrajat, north-west of Jericho - armed colonists invade the community compound, among them the security official of the nearby colony.

3. Susya - colonists throw stones at shepherds and at the wife of one of the them, threaten to kill them, and block another entrance to the village.

 

Tuesday, April 9 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 153 persons killed (84 of them bodies rescued from Khan Yunis rubble);

Wednesday, April 10 - The West Bank

‣ First day of Eid Al Fitr holiday, traditionally cemeteries are visited.

‣ The night of the holiday was characterized by many raids (mostly nocturnal, including house searches and interrogations) throughout the West Bank.

‣ There is a partial list: Jalamah, Beit Qad, Jalbun, Faqqua, Deir Ghazaleh, Anin, Azzun, Beit Rima, Bani Na'im, Nabi Salah, Jayus, Hebron, Qabalan, Qalqilya.


Arrests

About 15 persons arrested, 2 minors from Silwan among them.

1. Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus - raid, one person wounded by live fire.

2. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - raid and fire exchange. No casualties reported.

1. Al Mu’arrajat, north-west of Jericho - colonists accompanied by soldiers of the DCO confiscate the content of 3 tents.

2. Bani Na'im, east of Hebron - demolition order for the two houses of the terrorists who conducted the attack at Ra’anana on January 15th. To be carried out within 96 hours.

Colonist attacks

1. Kafr Tilt, south of Qalqilya - colonists throw stones at a villager and wound him.

‣ Camp on the beach, western part of the city - vehicle bombed, 6 persons killed - 3 adults (sons of Isma’il Hania) and 3 children (his grandchildren). A fourth girl was critically wounded and died of her wounds several days later;

‣ Shuja’iyya - artillery fire;

‣ Al Zeitoun - several air attacks.

Massive attacks from the air and artillery fire repeated at all hours of the day.

Thursday, April 11 - The West Bank

Arrests

1. 18 persons arrested, 4 of them minors, in Jerusalem and a minor girl in Dura.

2. The military court re-validated and approved 74 administrative detention orders today for periods of 4-6 months. Among the detainees without any indictment or legal proceedings - 2 women.

3. At Dura a minor girl was arrested for standing and filming with her cell phone at the entrance.


Clashes

1. Tuqu’a, south-east of Bethlehem - raid and confrontations. Teargas and stun grenades.

2. Tulkarm - raid and confrontations. Fire exchange.

3. Jayus, east of Qalqilya - fifth day of siege. Confrontations.

4. Az-Zuweidin, Masafer Yatta - soldiers chase Palestinians at the bidding of a colonist from the nearby outpost.



5. East Jerusalem - the Israel Supreme Court rejected the petition presented by the family of Ayad Al Halaq, contesting the District Court’s decision to acquit the policeman who killed him. Ayad, 32-years-old, on the autistic spectrum, was shot to death by a border policeman although he was unarmed, did not threaten the policeman in any way and was with his caregiver who explained his condition. All this, in May 2020.


Attacks against the army

1. Al Fawwar refugee camp - a Palestinian was arrested as a knife was found in his bag and he was suspected of intending to stab.



Colonist attacks

1. Al Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah - colonists torch a vehicle.

Thursday, April 11 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 63 persons killed;

‣ 45 persons wounded;

Northern Strip

1. Gaza City:

‣ Bombing at Firas Market close to the municipality building - 7 persons killed and 20 wounded;



‣ Al Shati refugee camp - 2 persons killed by bombing from the sea;

‣ Tel Al Hawa - family home bombed - 2 persons killed;

2. Jabalia refugee camp - drone attack on house - 2 persons killed.

3. UNICEF announced that the organization’s vehicle was attacked by the army in the Northern Strip.

Central Strip

Massive surge of attacks focused on Central Strip and Wadi Gaza (the line dividing the strip’s north and center). The Israeli army began a ground invasion at Nuseirat and fighting continued in Al Zahara and Al-Mughraqa as well as the surroundings of Wadi Gaza Bridge.

‣ At night, a fire belt north of the camp;

‣ Two schools bombed, 3 persons killed;

‣ Bombing of a mosque in the western part of the refugee camp - the muezzin killed;

Friday, April 12 - The West Bank

Killed

1. Mohammad Asam Al Shahmawi, 22-years-old from Al Far’a refugee camp.

2. Mohammad AlHamza Daraghma, 26-years-old from Tubas.

3. Jihad Afif Abu Alia, 25-years-old from Al Mughayyir.

Clashes

1. Al Far’a refugee camp and Tubas city - raid on the refugee camp, snipers, bulldozers and house surrounded. Anti-tank missile at house. Confrontations during which Palestinians activated improvised side-charges. Fire exchange. Snipers shoot Palestinian in the head, he is killed. From there they continued to Tubas, at Tamun Junction shot are fired at the forces and they return fire and kill another Palestinian in his vehicle. 2 persons killed, 4 wounded, one of them in serious condition.

Colonist attacks

Before the fate of the 14-year-old is known, riots have broken out in various areas:



1. Al Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah - close to Malachei Hashalom outpost, hundreds of armed colonists raided the village and opened live fire at houses, torched vehicles and homes.



The army prevented ambulance access and exit of private cars with wounded people from the village. Confrontations of colonists with Palestinians as the Israeli army actively backs up the colonists.



35 persons wounded (25 of them by live fire), 20 houses attacked, 7houses torched. 20 cars torched. 3 Israeli soldiers wounded from stones thrown.



2. Khirbet Abu Falah, north-east of Ramallah - stones thrown at Palestinian cars, vehicles torched. Houses attacked. 5 persons wounded.



3. Sebastia, north-west of Nablus - shots from Shavei Shomron colony towards Sebastia (the emergency squad).

4. Khirbet Al Marajim, north-east of Ramallah - after the army searched houses, armed colonists came and searched 17 houses, confiscated cell phones to avoid documentation, vandalized house contents, killed sheep and lamps, tore up animal feed sacks.



5. Fasa'il, north-west of Jericho - colonists throw stones at Palestinian vehicles.

6. Duma, south-east of Nablus - armed colonists accompanied by soldiers raid the village, torch cars.


 

Friday, April 12 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 8 lethal attacks;

‣ 89 persons killed;

‣ 120 persons wounded;

‣ 24 hours.


Attacks against Israel

1. Alarm sirens in Nirim and Sderot. 8 rockets fired towards Sderot.


Northern Strip

This was the 800-years-old mosque in Gaza City


1. Gaza City:

‣ Al Daraj neighborhood - residential building of a single family hit - 29 persons killed, children among them;



‣ Al Zarka area - a house bombed - 5 persons killed, 30 wounded.

2. Jabalia refugee camp - massive bombing. One person killed.

3. Beit Hanun - massive artillery fire. One woman killed and many wounded.


Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp - artillery fire, helicopter shooting, drones shooting, bombings from the air all day. Central mosque bombed, its minaret demolished. 70 persons killed, 3 journalists of TRT network among them. One journalist lost his foot.

Saturday, April 13 - The West Bank

Israelis killed

1. Benyamin Achimeir, 14-years-old, resident of Jerusalem and the colonist outpost of Malachei HaShalom.


Palestinians killed

1. Omar Ahmad Alghami Hamed, 17-years-old from Beitin.


Arrests

About 25 persons arrested, and 4 activists detained.


Attacks against colonists

1. The body of Benyamin Achimeir was found between Duma and Al Mughayyir villages, not far from the outpost, with signs of violence.

No separation this time, since on this eventful day, colonists attacked in many places and the army either stood passive by or attacked Palestinians in order to protect colonists, even raiding those places.

Soldiers prevent ambulance access for over 3 hours. They raid the village and shoot live bullets and teargas. House searches. 2 colonists wounded by a fire bomb.



2. Al Mughayyir, north-west of Ramallah - colonists raided again today, with live fire, torching cars, slaughtering dozens of sheep and goats.



Confrontations of Palestinians and colonists. Later, clashes with the army at the western entrance of the village, army even opens fire at the funeral procession of last night’s killed victim. 5 persons wounded, 2 of them seriously (in the neck and back).



3. As-Sawiya, south of Nablus - houses attacked. 5 houses damaged from stones thrown.



4. Burqin, south of Jenin - stones thrown at vehicles.

5. Qusra, south-east of Nablus - village raided, 6 houses torched, 4 cars and many other damages in the village.



6. Tarqumiyah, west of Hebron - colonists caused heavy damage to houses and cars.

7. Beitin, east of Ramallah - raid with live fire, torching a vehicle. Confrontations with soldiers who protected the colonists. A 14-year-old wounded by live fire. Later, a 17-year-old shot by colonists and died of his wounds.



8. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah - main road blocked, stones thrown and damages to cars.

1. Yazen Ishtiya, 17 years old from Salem. Killed in Nablus.

3. Mohammad Ashraf Bani Jam’a, 21-years-old from Aqraba.

Attacks against the army

1. Deir Sharaf, west of Nablus - a woman, mother of 14-year-old boy killed at the checkpoint in December, arrested after being caught with knife.




Expulsion

1. Supreme Court Judge Noam Sohlberg allows the eviction of 3 families (35 persons) from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood (East Jerusalem) in spite of the ruling to wait for the legal adviser’s opinion and freezing of the eviction. The 3 Diab families (Salah Diab is known from the neighborhood’s struggle against the eviction) have been targeted for eviction since July 15th. For 56 years they have been living in their homes and have been involved in legal proceedings since 2009. The Nahalat Shimon Association - financed by Christian Evangelists, is the one about to take over their houses.


Colonist attacks

1. Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah - stones thrown at Palestinian vehicles.

2. Aqraba, south-east of Nablus - dozens of armed colonists come to Khirbet Al Taweel area and open fire. 2 Palestinians killed on the spot. Shepherds.

Confrontations break out between Palestinians and the colonists. The army opens fire at Palestinians.



3 persons wounded by live fire. The army prevented rescue of the killed persons, attacked the ambulance team and took away the bodies. According to reports, a colonist who had been sanctioned abroad was seen among the attacking colonists.



Soldiers stood by during the attack. In March another Palestinian villager was killed by colonists. No one was arrested.



3. Bruqin, west of Salfit - colonists attack vehicles.



4. Shab El Butm, Masafer Yatta - colonists torch a car.



5. Qarawat Bani Hassan - colonists uproot 30 olive trees and several almond trees, and destroy a fence around the tended area.

6. Ras Al Ein, north-west of Jericho - colonists threaten Palestinians to destroy their pipe lines and stop their water supply.

7. Ain al-Hilweh, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley - colonists raided tents and wounded one of the women.

 

Monday, April 15 – The Gaza Strip

‣ 24 hours.


150 arrestees released, many of them with clear signs of abuse or medical neglect. The Red Crescent announces that 2 paramedics held in custody for 50 days had been released. The fate of another 6 is unknown.


Northern Strip

1. Jabalia refugee camp - one person killed and 9 wounded.

2. Gaza City:

‣ A mass grave was discovered in the Shifaa Hospital Compound with another 9 bodies;
