‣ In February alone, 1,066 military attacks on Palestinian localities were documented.

October 10, 2023 - March 6, 2024 - The Gaza Strip

Killed

Palestinians

‣ 30,800 bodies were brought to hospitals;

‣ About 7,000 persons are missing, buried under the rubble;

‣ As of March 4th: 13,430 minors;

‣ 8,900 women;

‣ 20 dead of malnutrition and dehydration, mostly children;

‣ 364 medical staff members;

‣ 133 journalists;

‣ 48 rescue team members;

‣ 27 of the detainees held in custody in Israel (their overall number unknown).

Israelis

‣ 1,220 Israelis and foreign nationals were killed on October 7th, 36 of them minors;

‣ 245 Israeli soldiers were killed in the ground invasion;

‣ The number of captives killed is unclear - 31 bodies are held in Gaza, Hamas reports more persons killed, but this has not been confirmed by official authorities in Israel.


Wounded and ill

Palestinians

‣ 72,298 persons wounded;

‣ 8,000 (6,000 persons wounded and 2,000 persons ill) need immediate evacuation out of the Gaza Strip, whereas only 2,203 have been evacuated;

‣ About one million persons have been estimated to suffer infectious diseases;

‣ 5,400 wounded persons wounded on October 7th;

‣ 1,469 Israeli soldiers wounded in the ground invasion.


Captives

‣ Of the 256 captives on October 7th, 134 are still held in the Gaza Strip.


Demolitions and attacks

‣ As of March 4th, 2,674 bombings have been documented from the air, the sea and ground;

‣ 19 cases of documented live fire or bombing of Palestinians standing in line for food. 5 of these attacks took place in March;

‣ 79,000 residences were destroyed;

‣ 25,010 more structures were destroyed;

‣ About 300,000 were partly damaged;

‣ 34% of the farm areas have been destroyed;

‣ With the lack of fuel, 65 sewage pumps became inactive;

‣ 6 sewage treatment institutes were damaged;

Humanitarian crisis

‣ According to UNRWA, 40% of the population of the Gaza Strip suffer the highest degree of hunger;

‣ In February, only 6 of the 24 UN aid delegations to the Northern Strip reached their destination;

‣ In the Southern Strip - 105 out of 200 delegations;

‣ 12 hospitals are partly operational. 3 field hospitals;

‣ No hospital or health center is fully operational;

‣ 52,000 pregnant women are currently in the Gaza Strip;

‣ According to UNICEF, 95% of the pregnant and nursing women suffer nutrition deficiencies;

‣ The only maternity hospital has 5 operational delivery rooms;

‣ 62 trucks designed to aid delivering mothers are delayed at the Rafah Crossing.

 

Friday, March 1 - The West Bank

Arrests

At least 15. Number of minors unknown.


Clashes



1. East Jerusalem - today, too, regulations are strict over arrival to prayers at Al Aqsa Mosque. At the Lions Gate and Bab Al Salsala (the compound gates) policemen attacked a young man and a woman, and even arrested them. In other places, police violence was noted. Most people coming to pray gathered in the Ras Al Amud neighborhood to pray in the street instead of inside the mosque.



2. Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem - confrontations around the cemetery. The Israeli army shoots live bullets, teargas and sun grenades. No casualties reported.

3. Osarin, south-east of Nablus - the village raided with live fire. Confrontations. Suffocations.

4. Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem - gunfire at a Palestinian vehicle near the entrance to the camp. The driver was badly hurt and ambulance access was prevented. Later the camp was raided, snipers positioned. Confrontations. Houses and shops raided, among them that of last night’s attack in which 2 Israelis were killed. The terrorist’s father and brother were arrested, the house was measured in preparation to its demolition.

5. Jaba', south of Jenin - a printing press was raided, equipment and instruments were confiscated Confrontations and fire exchange. No casualties reported.

6. Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin - raid and confrontations. Fire exchange, improvised charges exploded. No casualties reported.

7. Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of Jericho - a house raided, contents damaged.

Palestinian attacks against the army

Demolitions

1. Issawiya, north-east Jerusalem - a resident was forced to demolish his own home. Default - if the municipality were to demolish, he would have to pay a 450,000 shekel fine.




Colonist attacks

1. Jalud, south-east of Nablus - at night colonists throw stones at houses in the outskirts of the village and damage property.

2. Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus - colonists shoot live fire at villagers’ homes and shops. No casualties reported. 6 caravans placed on village lands in preparation of erecting a new outpost south of the village.

3. Turmus Aya, north-east of Ramallah - colonists attack farmers who tended a field. Uprooted olive saplings.

4. Al Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron - colonists accompanied by soldiers attacked houses.



5. Arab Al Malihat, north-west of Jericho - armed colonists raided the community, conducted searches and damaged 12 houses. Attacked some of the villagers and wounded them.

6. Ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron - colonists on motorcycles chase away shepherds and their flocks.



7. Urif, south of Nablus - colonists throw stones at Palestinian vehicles on the road leading to Asira al-Qibliya. Vehicles damaged, an ambulance among them.

 

Friday, March 1 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 16 lethal attacks;

Northern Strip


In the Northern Strip, looking for dates


1. Al Zeitoun neighborhood, eastern part of Gaza City - 10 persons killed and 3 wounded in a nocturnal attack.

2. Beit Hanun - a house bombed. Number of casualties unreported.

3. UN delegation managed to reach Shifa Hospital with a supply of fuel, medication and food for children suffering acute malnutrition. 24 aid crates were parachuted at the shoreline. Some of them were swept out to sea.

Saturday, March 2 - The West Bank

Killed

1. Mohammad Murad Al Diq, 16-years-old from Kafr Ni'ma.

2. Mohammad Khaled Ziad, 13-years-old from Al Jalazone refugee camp.


Arrests

12 persons arrested.


Clashes

1. Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah - a raid. A 16-year-old was shot in the head and died a bit later of his wounds.

2. Azzun, east of Qalqilya - raid and confrontations. Fire exchanges. A resident was run over by an army vehicle and was arrested.

3. Qalqilya - Kefar Saba neighborhood raided. Confrontations. Fire exchange. Arrests and erasure of nationalist murals.

4. Nablus - city center raided, the armed forces situated near the schools at Fatia, close to the Old City. Fire exchange and an improvised explosive charge. Arrest.

5. Al Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah - gunfire at a 13-year-old close to the Beit El colony. Hit in the chest and later died of his wounds.


Attacks on colonists

1. Karmei Tzur, north of Hebron - gunfire at the colony.

2. Ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron - a stabbing attack. One person lightly wounded. The stabber was caught later.

1. Burqa, east of Ramallah - colonists attack homes and cars. House was ignited with firebombs.



2. Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit - stones thrown at Palestinian farmers and a farming structure destroyed.

3. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin - a group of colonists attacked local council workers who were working to rehabilitate a thoroughfare. They were chased away under armed threat.

4. Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit - armed colonists attacked a farmer and caused him injuries. He claims they tried to stab him. They forced the other farmers to leave under armed threat.

5. Ein Qiniya, west of Ramallah - colonists entered the village and shot in the air. Chased farmers off their land.

6. As-Samu, south of Hebron - colonists attacked a shepherd, wounded him and stole his cell phone.

Saturday, March 2 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 10 lethal attacks;

‣ 92 Palestinians killed;

2. Al Rashid Street, Gaza City - today, as every day, people standing in line for food are shot - one person killed, 26 wounded. The number of persons killed in the flour massacre has risen to 118.

Monday March 4 - The West Bank

1. Mustafa Abu Shalbak, 16-years-old from Qalandia refugee camp. Killed at Al Am'ari refugee camp.

Arrests

55 persons arrested, including one who was on a hunger strike for 140 days until freed from administrative detention. According to Shabak (Israeli secret services), a cell was arrested that had produced explosive charges in Tarqumiyah.

1. Al Am'ari refugee camp, south of Al-Bireh - early morning raid lasting several hours. Arrests. Confrontations. A 16-year-old was shot in the neck and chest and killed. Another wounded by live fire. 2 Israeli soldiers lightly wounded.

2. Nablus - two events:

‣ In Al Mahfia neighborhood, confrontations following the explosion of the martyr’s home. 15 residents wounded.

‣ In the eastern part of town - colonists tried to reach Joseph’s tomb, attacked a Palestinian with pepper spray. Confrontations as they were rescued by the army. Fire exchange.

3. Nur Shams refugee camp - a raid that began last night, during which bulldozers destroyed infrastructures. One of the bulldozers chased a resident trying to run him over. Confrontations. Fire exchange. Side charges, one of them injured a bulldozer.



4. Burin, south of Nablus - an afternoon raid that became confrontational. A 10-year-old child sitting with his father in the car was shot in the head and his death was established later. 2 others wounded by live fire and beatings.

2. Nur A Din Yassin, 18-years-old from Deir Abu Da'if. Wounded on Thursday, February 29th, in Jenin. Died of his wounds today.

1. Huwara, south of Nablus - a 16-year-old Palestinian stabbed and seriously wounded a soldier in Huwara’s main street. Was shot and died of his wounds.

1. Mohammad Raja Eid, 19-years-old from Burin. Was seriously wounded last night during a raid on Burin (in which a 10-year-old was killed) and died of his wounds.
